What happens after you get a cultivation license?
Congratulations!
You've just joined the most highly regulated industry in the history of mankind--no, really!
You probably already know that operating a successful business in this space requires jumping through a lot of hoops. But did you know the hoops are constantly moving and occasionally on fire?

Surprise!

Oh and guess what else! It doesn't end with OMMA. If you want to open a bank account there's a whole other world of regulatory requirements waiting for you.

If you want to insure your crops and finished goods, the insurance companies have even more security requirements.

The banking AND insurance regulations are heavy and both come with inspections. They look at your facility AND your records.

I'm not a lawyer and I don't have an MBA, so you can trust me.
These are the things I wish I would have known.

Design, process and strategy for an ancient industry.
a pencil crossing a ruler symbolizes design.
design
We're not talking pretty pictures. Design is a way of looking at something in order to solve a problem. When done correctly the results are beautiful on their own.
arrows going in a circle representing processes.
process
Process documentation leads to greater efficiency and greater profits. It may sound oppressive, but documented processes actually relieve stress and increase employee satisfaction.

strategy
Strategy is how we plan for the future. We need strategies to differentiate ourselves from competitors, to price our products and to grow our businesses.
What's really important:
In these uncertain times we have an infinite amount of information and imagination at our disposal. COVID-19 has pushed us into a new technological world. Combined with AI and the fourth industrial revolution things have gotten really crazy really fast. I know you already feel it. Here's something worth thinking about:

We have an opportunity, here and now, to change things for the better. Now is the time, while the old bureaucrats are still clinging to their crumbling legacy systems. The systems that destroyed the environment, killed the American dream, and made a very few shamelessly rich.

Now is the time. We can build something new that benefits everyone.

What to do AFTER getting the cultivation license from OMMA: an interactive checklist
Finally getting the license is such a relief! But why doesn't anyone ever talk about all the things you have to do after you get the cultivation license?

You still have to go through the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (OBNDD) before you can have any cannabis present. And then you can't sell anything until you get another license from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture.

There are the requirements from OMMA, OBNDD, omg the bank, and wait until you hear what the security entails to get insured!

It's all in this interactive checklist. 100% free.
